First, creationists tried to have the teaching of evolution outlawed.

Conclusion 5. Appendix 6. Work Cited Introduction Creationism and evolution, born through historical significance which continues throughout time in a clash between the two and their followers, such conflict has led people to debate and prohibit the teachings of each other.

Some argue whether or not evolution and creationism should be taught in schools.

The praise, replete with superlatives, ranged from "elegant, enthralling, and provocative" to "clear, comprehensive, and very informative".1 From all appearances it intended to be the theory of evolution offered up to the common man for general consumption and enlightenment; it was what would put the evolution/creationism debate to rest once and for all.

From Darwin's notebook B now stored in Cambridge University library

The above "Tree of Life sketch" appears on page 36 of the notebook - the first 35 pages being effectively taken up by Darwin's consideration of his grandfather Erasmus Darwin's earlier evolutionary musings as published in Zoonomia; or the Laws of Organic Life (1794) a two-volume medical work dealing with pathology, anatomy, psychology, and the functioning of the body.

Through this book Mayr strives for "a mid-level account of evolution, written not just for scientists but for the educated public." In short, he attempts to write a (non-fiction) scientific novel....

Science cannot absolutely prove or disprove Creation or Evolution.

The argument between evolution and creation has been debated back and forth for years.

Creationism controversy goes all the way back to the Publishing of Origin of Species in 1859 by Darwin laying the foundation for the evolution of life to be understood.

Scientists are continuously finding more evidence to support Darwin’s conclusion; that organisms descended from a common ancestor modified by the mechanism of natural selection resulting in the evolution of species adapting to their environment.

It must be realized that evolution is a theory and cannot be considered a fact.

Klyce, Brig. Evolution versus Creationism. 2009. 15 November 2009.

It futile to ask about the meaning of life when you are the answer.” ― Rob Geis Creationism and the study of evolution has been a controversial debate for decades now, leaving many people on one side or the other.

Biblical creation is the side that evolutionists are arguing against.

The common way that this debate has been viewed is as the religious versus scientific argument with creation taking the role of religion while evolution is taken as the scientific one. This typecasting behavior does not care whether the individuals being branded are creationists or evolutionists. Both sides are deemed as working against each other to prove which of the two arguments is right and one that is to be upheld. In real sense, the arguments for and against each school of thought have not yet been established beyond doubt. On a sober note, it is true that those individuals who are followers and believers of the evolution theory do so by the faith that they hold in it. In addition, the fact that the alternate view has a theological connotation attached to it does not mean that it is supported on religious views only but also on practical and rational interpretations. The question that many people ask is whether what we believe in or about the origins of life really matter. Answer to this is that it does since careful observation and studies have revealed that there exists a positive correlation on the outlook of human genesis and the way of reaction to daily issues like purpose, identity and obligation towards self and the rest of the society (Strandberg, 2009).

Some people think that evolution is how everything came together.

Both creationism and evolutionism have their arguments against each other that truly hold for or against the other group. The creationists use a number of factors to support their cause of debate and act as a base in which to refute the evolutionism view and we will revisit a few of them. First argument is on the fact that non-living matter cannot transform into living matter using a pragmatic approach. The Miller-Urey experiment and others of the same nature have been known to fail considerably on their attempt to create life from non- living materials. This argument is used to refute the abiogenesis theory of life existence. Darwin’s theory of natural selection has been attacked on the argument that he passed along that anything that is not being used is done away with and degenerates from non-use. Human beings have an intricacy that is non-reducible in nature. Matching male and female genitalia have to be in existence at the same moment in time and at thief right formation if any copulation and reproductive functions have to occur. The evolution theory on another instance says that as time goes by, an organism that undergoes evolution is known to become more and more prearranged and ordered. This theory clashes with the scientific second law of thermodynamics, which stipulates that with the passage of time, every type of thing tends to have a gradual degeneration process up to the point of death or utter destruction (Vuletic, 2009).

Evolution in the Public Schools

Under the guise of "academic freedom" creationists are co-opting some old heroes of the fight to teach evolution in the classroom for their anti-science campaign.
